It's an antique store with a twist! Nelda designs a large collection of turquoise that is absolutely stunning to behold. She uses a variety of stones in her jewelry collections. It's definitely worth the trip whether you plan on spoiling yourself or someone you love.

Yep! It is the world's largest Bowie knife. Stop by and take a selfie or a group picture to prove your experience was real. The knife is over 20 feet long and weighs over 3,000 lbs.

As if 2020 wasn't hard enough, in May a tornado hit Bowie, Texas. It hit it hard. Several shops were a total loss and several of them have not recovered. It is with the community's delight that La Belle Vintage Mall has made it through. They re-opened and have several wonderful vendors offering a wide variety of vintage items. Definitely worth your time. You never know what treasure you might find!

Ace Sewing Center is where I bought the Janome Skyline 5 machines. They specialize in Brother, Baby Lock, Handi Quilter, and Janome. Don't take my word for it, check out their store.

Kay has a wonderful store selling patterns, notions, and fabrics. She also does longarm quilting. She is an active member of the Wise County Quilt Guild. Her store is outside city limits, so please call for directions. It's a truly beautiful drive to her shop. If you need to meet up outside her posted hours, just give her a call to check on her availability.
